Burkina Faso is experiencing a multidimensional crisis of unprecedented scale in its history. For several years, the country has been mired in a spiral of terrorist violence, political instability, and the collapse of public services, threatening its very existence as a nation. This crisis is not inevitable, but rather the result of an accumulation of structural weaknesses that neither successive governments nor the international community have been able to anticipate or address with the seriousness it demands.
Faced with this reality, we, Burkinabè in the diaspora and citizens of the world devoted to justice and human dignity, cannot remain silent. The duty of solidarity is not an option: it is a moral imperative. It is in this conviction that Burkina Solidaire was born—not as a political or partisan organization, but as a resolutely independent, diverse, and committed citizens' collective.
We believe that governance must serve the people, not the other way around. We believe that security cannot be built on the repression of fundamental freedoms. We believe that a country's sustainable development cannot happen without peace, without justice, without respect for the dignity of every human being. These convictions are non-negotiable.
Burkina Solidaire demands a return to the rule of law, respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and an inclusive and transparent political transition process leading to free and credible elections as soon as possible. We extend our hand to all Burkinabè, to all those who love this country, and to all those who believe in universal human dignity. Together, we will be the voice of Burkina Faso. Together, we will make a difference.
